Shiba Zhijun (しば肖, Zhijun Shiba) is an ancient and incredibly powerful shinigami that has been around for centuries. While still a member of the Gotei 13, Shiba was a prominent man in the twefth division and first division, having been one of the division's Captain, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, favored members while serving in the latter. During the war against Sōsuke Aizen, Shiba was the third seat of his division. As the third seat, he participated fully in the winter war, having fought off the gillian-class menos being summoned by Fūrā, as well as the reiryoku wolves created by Coyote Starrk.
