The Banana King features in a story called "The Monkey King" with Marisa Tomei playing a waitress. He starts out as a monkey who persuades the waitress to kiss him, turning him back into a Fat Blue Anything Muppet. As it turns out, he is the owner of the restaurant Banana King, and plans on making the beautiful maiden his wife. Together, they change the name of the restaurant to Banana Queen and King. The restaurant is a parody of Burger King.
