Authority Currency Exchanges were locations where one could convert non-standard commodities or currencies into Authority Cash Vouchers in the Corporate Sector in the years preceding the Galactic Civil War. Users would trade crystalline vertex, gems, precious metals, ore, and obscure currencies, and the exchange would issue an Authority Cash Voucher for the value, minus a small percentage as processing fee. Authority Currency Exchanges were usually staffed lightly with disbursements auto-clerks doing the actual counting and issuing.
