The Boss-O-Meter is a device invented by Brain, seen in the beginning of "D.W., Bossy Boots." Arthur and Brain set out to use the machine to measure how bossy the people around them are. It worked fairly well until D.W.'s bossy levels were too high, and it exploded in a humorous, cartoon-like fashion.
