Darkscale was an ender dragon of Dragonhollow's Sixth Era. Adventurers Bagger and Macca used a portal from Hallowmere to reach the dragon's den in the Hollow on 6E:17, but were quickly overwhelmed and used their hearthstones to escape before Darkscale melted the flesh from their bones. They returned in force on 6E:23 and after a lengthy struggle they were able to slay him without sustaining a single death. The duo harvested a single egg from his corpse which they displayed in a shrine at Nova Zaeric.
