In an alternate timeline, the Vulcan High Command security vessel Ahn-Woon was a starship in service to the Vulcan Protectorate in the 23rd century. In 2274, the Ahn-Woon investigated the disappearance of VHC Muroc above a Vedala planetoid. Commander Sekel accused the Federation starship USS Enterprise of being responsible and demanded the immediate return of the Muroc. When the Enterprise proved unable to facilitate this, the Ahn-Woon opened fire. The security vessel pursued Enterprise but was eluded due to the inability of its coleopteric warp drive to match the course changes of the Constitution-class ship. (DTI novel: Forgotten History)
