Scruval Qualens (born -54) is almost certainly the richest man in the Roaman Republic, owning vast estates across all of Scalify, particularly in Inachria from his stints as Governor of Nearer and Further Inachria. He served Roam during the Crylaltian War in an invaluable role coordinating the supply of provisions to the Roaman legions, and is a shrewd politician and businessman. Following his inheritance from his father, he has established himself as a domineering force in Roaman politics through lending to candidates for magisterial offices. The majority of the Senate owe their seats to Scruval, and his influence has allowed him to continually flout the constitution.
