In "One of Our Running Backs Is Missing," recently fired football player, Bobby La Port schemes with his brother Rick to kidnap fellow player Larry Bronco and keep him from playing in an upcoming game. They then use a bookie inside Doyle's Den to bet against the point spread in hopes of cashing in. But Steve Austin, an old friend of Bronco's, tracks them down and saves the day.
