Thomas Limpinsel (born in 1965, Essen) is a German freelance actor, best known for his role of Heinz Linge in the 2004 German film Der Untergang. Limpinsel was born in 1965. He began his acting career in 1987, at the Hanover Academy of Music, Theatre and Media. After graduation, he was a permanent member from 1991 to 1993 at the Hanover Schauspielhaus. Since 1997, Thomas Limpinsel works as a freelance actor, director and writer / lyricist. Guest engagements have taken him to many theatres such as the Bavarian State Theatre, Vienna Burgtheater, Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Salzburg Festival, Renaissance Theater Berlin and the German Ernst Theatre in Hamburg.
