Roll was the third Robot Master to be built by Dr. Thomas Light, after her brothers Blues and Rock. She and Rock were built after Blues ran away from home, and were never told about their older brother. Rock and Roll were the best of friends, and regarded Dr. Light as their father, and did their best to help him in his work.
