The Argurons are members of a secret subterranean civilization beneath Paris (apparently, one of many). So far, very little has been revealed about them. Argurons seem to be human, but some of them are much taller than the human average. A few seen in the Arguron palace are [ head and shoulders taller] [[Chronology - Volume #|✣ ]] than Ardsley Wooster and have so little pigmentation that they could be albinos, almost as if they are a separate race.
