Isadore "Friz" Freleng (August 21, 1906 - May 26, 1995) was an American animator, cartoonist, director and producer who was well known for creating memorable cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam and the Pink Panther. Before that, he was a cartoonist and employee to Walt Disney on the Laugh-O-Grams and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
