The Hill Climb is basically a wooden plank set at a 40 degree angle that competitors must charge up. It lacks railing of any sort, but the challengers can grab hold of the edge to pull themselves up easier (the REAL ninjas just run up there). There isn't really a way to fail on it but lose time. To date, only one competitor out of 168 have ran out of time on the Hill Climb, so it isn't really that hard to conquer.
