The Virginia Air Force (VAF) was the military service of the country Virginia whose primary mission focus is on air superiority. When Ohio released a mutated measles virus in to Virginia in its opening offensive in the war of 2097, Virginia Consul Pendleton ordered the VAF to bomb various targets in Ohio. As the war progressed, the VAF regularly patrolled Virginia airspace.
