Yount was an Imperial Governor posted on the planet Wakeelmui, whose duties included being in charge of a stormtrooper garrison on the world. At some point prior to the Battle of Endor in the year 4 ABY, Yount recommended stormtrooper Sergeant Wallen and his unit to Commander Igar, the Imperial officer in charge of Tempest Force, the military legion stationed on the Forest Moon of Endor.
