The 2nd Kinnikuman Nisei anime was entitled Kinnikuman Nisei: Ultimate Muscle and was broadcasted April 7~June 30, 2004, on Wednesdays on TV Tokyo and was produced by Toei Animation. 13 episodes were made and it was followed by Kinnikuman Nisei: Ultimate Muscle 2. It was made at the request of 4Kids Entertainment (who had dubbed the first series as Ultimate Muscle) and was not well received by Japanese fans.
