When Dunkel went through the cloning process, the Kaminoans modified him greatly. They still used Jango Fett for the physical appearance, except by increasing his muscle, but they used genes from a bounty hunter named Zerd Terrorly. They had also enhanced the force ability inside of Dunkel and made him force sensitive. He was trained both in the dark side of the force and as a Republic Commando.
