Mahada is a non-canon character that made his only appearance in Mortal Kombat novel. He was a competitor in the Mortal Kombat tournament 500 years ago. He was a Mauryan who recited the Vedic "Hymn of Creation" as he fought. He put up a noble struggle during the tournament, but lost several teeth during the matches - and with them, his ability to recite the hymn. With his confidence gone, he lost the tournament.
