William Wyndhaven is a member of the Old Guard Party in Lourenne. He is oldest child of George Wyndhaven and Catherine Anne Wyndhaven. William was number six on the OGP's list of candidates in Kundir, and eventhough his father secured the highest personal vote in the 2491 election, the party did not get enough to secure six senators from that province. However, his father declined his seat after the death of his wife, and William, who had just turned 18 making him the youngest senator in Lourenne's history, became a member of the Senate.
