Yes Cyprus is in Europe. However not all of the island comes under the E.U. Cyprus is divided into two states, The Republic of Cyprus(Greek Cypriot south) and Northern Cyprus(Turkish Cypriot north). The Republic of Cyprus is a recognised nation and is in the European Union. The de facto Northern Cyprus is not a recognised nation and is only recognised by Turkey.
