The Star Shadow-class Special Use Starfighter was a joint design starfighter between the Mikaru Corporation and Sienar Fleet Systems. The ships design, system layout, and internal circuitry was designed by the Mikaru Corporation and the primary hardware was provided by SFS. While the engines were by SFS, and were Twin Ion Engines the ship was not an official member of the TIE family, though it was commonly refered to as the TIE/s or TIE Shadow.
