Completed in 2003, Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma at Emerald Bay was designed to reflect the Bahamian Colonial style, featuring interior and exterior pastels with dark wood and rattan accents. In 2006, the resort opened a small European-style casino along with new restaurants featuring local cuisine. It was recognized by Travel + Leisure’s 2007 World’s Best Top 500 and ranks on the World’s Top Resorts 2007/2008 by Zagat Survey. The resort currently houses 183 guest rooms, including 43 suites.
