Elway Steading was a Grayson steading, or feudal province. It was one of the first twenty-four steadings founded. In 1017 PD (3120 AD in the Gregorian Calendar used on Grayson) the Conclave of Steadholders accepted Steadholder Elway's eldest illegitimate son as his heir, as he did not have legitimate male heir of his own.
