A dagger is a light one-handed weapon consisting of a short blade and hilt. Although daggers don't do as much per-hit damage as swords, daggers often have a (40%) faster attack speed and allow the character to be more nimble. The effectiveness and the amount of damage when using daggers is governed by the Blade skill and the Strength attribute.
