Stephen Andrew Marek' (born September 3, 1983 in Houston, Texas) is a right-handed pitcher in the Atlanta Braves system. He is currently on the Braves 40-man roster. Marek attended McNeil High School (in Austin, Texas) and San Jacinto College. Marek was drafted by the Anaheim Angels in the 40th round of the 2004 June Draft. On July 30, 2008, Marek and Casey Kotchman were traded to the Braves for first baseman Mark Teixeira
