The Superiority of Sentience: Nature's Deadliest Weapon was an scientific article written by K'ar Zah, Chief Scientist of the Imperial Academy of Science & Methodology. In this article, Zah described the theory that sentient individuals fighting against non-sentient deadly creatures would emerge victorious in most cases. To conduct research for this article, Zah hired courageous individuals to face some of the galaxy's most dangerous predators, armed with simple vibroweapons and/or primitive slug-throwers. According to Zah's theory, the sentient hunter would win the encounters in eight out of ten cases.
