Ali Ben Mahmud is the Khemedian royal butler to Prince Abdullah at the Court of the fictional Arab state of Khemed. It was he who first alerted the Emir, Mohammed Ben Kalish Ezab, of his son's disappearance, which was subsequently discovered to be a kidnapping by men in the service of J.W. Müller.
