Raymond Boone was a Starfleet officer in the mid-24th century. He was a single child who had a good relationship with his parents. Later in life, he married in 2347 and served aboard the Federation starship USS Rutledge. Aboard the Rutledge, he served alongside Miles O'Brien. During the Federation-Cardassian War, his ship responded to a distress call from Setlik III. Boone was captured by Cardassians in the conflict on this planet. He was sent to a detention center where he was killed. His appearance, but not his behavior, was assumed by a Cardassian agent. (DS9: "Tribunal")
