The second Magno is new incarnation of the golden age Quality Comics hero. He is a member of the Crusaders, who fought the Freedom Fighters under S.H.A.D.E.'s mind control. His mind freed, he continues to fight crime with his partner Captain Triumph. The second Magno was an inhabitant of Bludhaven when the Secret Society of Super-Villains dropped Chemo on the city, nearly destroying it. The resulting nuclear fallout triggered the meta-gene in many of its surviving inhabitants
