King Robert the first of The Great Island born as Robert David Vanderham was the first king of The Great Island. Robert was born on May 23rd, 1888 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He became the first King on July 19th, 1938. Unfortunately about some time in January of 1940 he started having heart problems. He eventually died on March 2nd, 1941. His only son is the current King, King Robert the second. His wife was Sarah the Wise.
