Reports are a series of unlockable reports and side stories in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy that become available after the player has completed certain requirements. Some lines in the reports are highlighted and can be selected. When selected, a cut scene or a series of battles is triggered. The cut scenes show side stories to the main storyline. Battles are sometimes related to the side story, and can consist of a number of rounds. There is no interruption between rounds, so any preparation to the player's character must be made beforehand.
