C.S. Lewis (Clive Staples Lewis, or Jack to his friends) (November 29, 1898 - November 22, 1963), was a good friend of J.R.R. Tolkien, and the author of The Chronicles of Narnia book series. Lewis was a member of The Inklings literary society, with Tolkien and his son Christopher.
