The Takeda was finished in 2556 CE on Mars, and placed under the command of Captain Harry Malvins. The ship was named after the Japanese Clan Takeda, that existed in the 15th Century. The ship's crew seeks to gain such a fearsome reputation as the Takeda once had, and since they are manning a UNSC Destroyer, may well succeed in that effort.
