Diego Salamanca is a restauranteur from J Andres. Salamanca opened his first quick serve burrito restaurant, Boloco, in 2048 which quickly spread through the Lanier and Boston provinces. He purchased a chain of pizza restaurants, Regina Pizzeria, in 2055, and a coffee and doughnut chain, Dunkin' Donuts in 2060. In 2065, Salamanca added Chili's to his list of restaurant holdings. In 2068, Brad Henault, Governor of Lanier ran for president, prompting a gubernatorial race. Salamanca ran as the Communist party candidate and won, becoming the second governor of Lanier.
