The freedom principle is: "Any possible action that could be taken by a character can be adjudicated within the immersive framework of the game." It is posited to be a criterion of a role-playing game. The freedom principle means * you can choose any legal "game move" * you can assign any decision-making process to your character you choose * you can use your authorial privilege to propose any allowed narration It does NOT mean * you can violate the narrative principle * you can change the rules to whatever you want * you can narrate any event you like
