Usually served as sauteed, stewed, or brewed in a tea, this mushroom resembles two conjoined giant puffballs. It grows to be about 10 centimetres in diameter at maturity and is cultivated on Vollista; it's a greenish-brown shade when ripe. Attempts to cultivate it off-world have failed, with the general theory being that off-world soil either doesn't contain the required nutrients or lacks some symbiotic agent; although some attempts have added Vollistan soils to the mix, this seems to act only as a delaying method for the point when the mushrooms cease thriving. They are grown underground, and are generally found 2 to 3 feet below the ground, usually around the roots of seerlia bushes.
