Charlie Nairn (born 1942 in Edinburgh) directed 9 episodes of Coronation Street between June and November 1983. His other credits include Crown Court, Bulman and Bergerac, and he has since gone on to be recognised worldwide as a successful, award-winning director of film documentaries in the World in Action, Disappearing World and many other strands.
