The 1968-22 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Fairgrounds Raceway on June 8, 1968. Richard Petty dominated the race, leading 159 of the 160 laps in route to victory over Bobby Isaac. Eventual season champion David Pearson crossed the line in 3rd, but was disqualified due to rules infractions. He finished 18th.
