Bill Scott is a former NASCAR driver from Winston-Salem, NC. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens. All of Scott's races came during the 1959 season, when he finished 69th in points. Scott debuted at Weaverville, starting 33rd and finishing 38th after early overheating issues. But Scott showed real promise after that race, earning back-to-back top-ten finishes at Richmond and Hillsboro. But after that Scott fell off again, finishing 43rd at Martinsville and rounding out his career with a pair of mid-pack 21st place finishes.
