The Vorpal Sword and Flamberge are an important set of weapons needed to make the Eternal Sword in Tales of Phantasia, after forming a pact with Origin using the "Diamond Ring". The swords can be obtained after defeating the guardians of the ancient countries of Fenrir and Odin, while the Diamond Ring is found within the ruins of Thor. These three items form a trinity of ancient artifacts used as a symbol of each of these three centers of political power during Aselia's past. Only Cress Albane can equip the two blades, but they are considered to be individual weapons which are wielded one at a time.
