Eurytion was one of the heroes who braved the Kalydonian Boar. Eurytion did not return from the hunt. The irony is that it was not the boar that killed Eurytion as was the case with Hyleus. Eurytion was inadvertantly killed by his son-in-law and fellow hunter Peleus.
