The Provincial Courts of Washingtonia are the general, local trial courts of Washingtonia, located in each of the two provinces, North Island and South Island. These courts were established by the Provincial Courts Act of 1940, in line with Section 3 of Chapter 6 of the Constitution, which allows the Grand Assembly to establish new courts besides the constitutionally-established Supreme Court and Constitutional Court.
