"I'm Gonna Always Love You" is an original song written for The Muppets Take Manhattan. The song was performed during a fantasy sequence while Kermit and Miss Piggy took a carriage ride through Central Park, in which Piggy imagined what it would have been like if the Muppets had known each other as babies. Baby Piggy leads baby versions of Kermit, Fozzie, Gonzo, Scooter, and Rowlf as they sing in their nursery about Piggy's plans for when she grows up. No matter what happens, however, Piggy insists that she's "gonna always love" Kermit.
