Despite Amos's insistence that The Woolpack ghost maybe a poltergeist, following the raining off of the cricket match, Henry decides to head off for a day of peace of quiet doing what he loves best - birdwatching. The 'bird' that he does discover though is not of the flight kind, it is Janet Thompson, an old flame of his thirty years ago.
