Youth and the relatively sheltered position of a youngest daughter have left the book of Stowynne's life mainly unwritten until this time. However, the title page of that volume may very reasonably give some mention to still waters running deep and fierce. She is the daughter whose frequent absences from the more feminine activities of her station could be easily over looked because of her favored status as youngest and her almost immediate obedience in all other matters.
