The White Tower is an inn located in the Kandori village of Ravinda, on the main road from Canluum to Chachin. It was constructed in 979 NE by Avene Sahera, a recipient of the bounty awarded by the Amyrlin Seat Tamra Ospenya to all women who gave birth during the Battle of the Shining Walls. Sahera named it in honor of the Aes Sedai and thanks for the bounty. Moiraine Damodred visited the inn while it was under construction and believed that it was unlikely the Aes Sedai would approve of the name, but she did not suggest that the innkeeper change the name as she was traveling in disguise.
