Hektor I reigning from (990 - 953 BC) was the fourth Emperor of the Heracleidae Empire and a member of the Heracleidae dynasty. The Heracleidae state was the precursor of the modern Diadochian Empire. Hektor I succeeded his father Scamandrius I in 990 BC. Legend claims that Hektor ruled for thirty-seven years, during which time he is said to have began the process of subjecting several once independent kingdoms of Diadochia. He conducted a war with the Argives and allied with the city-state of Athenais.
