Darcy Cho was a second-year lawyer working at a small firm in New York. Her closest friend was another employee at the firm, the two having bonded as they started work on the same day and didn't know anybody else in the city. Darcy was killed by ruthless ex-soldier Mukhta Baylor after she bought a knock-off bag from a street vender. The bag was the same model as the one in which the fraudster Charles Oni had hidden a fake passport that Baylor required to get his brother out of Africa. Baylor killed Darcy and employed a Vodun ritual using her body to try and find the missing bag.
