The 1973-12 was an ASA National Tour event held at Track::Salem Speedway on August 19, 1973. Rapidly rising star Darrell Waltrip won his second ASA race of the season, holding off a season-best effort by Ed Angle. Jim Robinson was also confirmed as a driver in this race after winning the pole, but his finishing position was unknown.
