The Pikachu Elders, often known as simply Elders in context, were the primary governing group of the Tan Pikachu, but were replaced by the Nonpareil Alliance after they took their fight with the Antithesis to the next level, and the rest of the Pikachu realised the senility of the Elders. The Elders had ruled for eons, but became lax, uncaring, and idiotic, and were temporarily replaced by the New Elders, who were just a front for the already prevalent Nonpareil.
